2. Unsnap the factory silencer box from the fan
shroud and remove the factory tube assembly
from the vehicle.
3. Unlatch the metal clips and remove the lid from
air box base. Using a 13mm socket, remove the
air box base from the engine compartment.
4. Using a flat blade screwdriver, carefully unsnap
the box inlet from the base and remove it. Re-
install the factory base in the engine compart-
ment with out the inlet.
5. Disconnect the factory electrical connector
from the factory air temperature sensor.
6. Loosen the two 10mm bolts mounting the factory
air box to the intake manifold and remove from
vehicle.
8. Using the supplied #6 screws, nuts and wash-
ers, assemble the two panels as shown above.
Next, install the supplied air filter adapter
using the supplied ¼-20 bolts and washers.
7. Turn the air temperature sensor ¼ turn and re-
move from the air box. Retain sensor for later
use.
9. Install the supplied nylon fitting into the air filter
adapter as shown.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Discon-
nect the breather hose from the factory air box
lid. Loosen the two hose clamps on each end
of the factory intake tube.
